The Dilemma over the Nord Stream 2 Pipeline
Trying to block a $11 billion project, that will deliver up to 55 billion cubic meters of gas per year, was always a tall order. Even more so due to the fraught EU-US relations during the previous administration. With the project around 95% completed, the only realistic alternative is for the EU and the US to find a common path forward to address the geopolitical implications.
